Upcoming Apple Products Guide: What's Coming in 2026

WWDC 2026: Software and Siri Overhaul

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in June will set the stage for 2026. The keynote on June 8 will introduce iOS 27, macOS 27, and other platform updates. The most anticipated change is a smarter Siri, powered by advanced AI. Siri will gain chatbot capabilities comparable to ChatGPT or Claude, a standalone app, and deeper integration into the iPhone's Dynamic Island. Apple Intelligence will also bring AI editing to Photos, a Siri mode for Visual Intelligence in the Camera app, and a wallpaper generation tool.

September 2026: iPhone 18 Pro, Foldable iPhone, and More

September is traditionally Apple's busiest month, and 2026 is no exception. The iPhone 18 Pro will feature a smaller Dynamic Island, a variable aperture main lens for DSLR-like control, and the A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process. It will also debut Apple's C2 modem and a dark cherry color option. Alongside, Apple's first foldable iPhone is expected—a book-style device with a 5.3-inch external display unfolding to 7.6 inches. At just 4.5mm thick when open, it will use advanced display tech and a durable hinge to minimize the crease. It will include an A20 chip, dual rear cameras, and a Touch ID power button instead of Face ID, with a price tag up to $2,500.

The Apple Watch Series 12 may only see a chip refresh, with no major design changes. The iPad mini 8 will adopt an OLED display for the first time, along with a more water-resistant design and a vibration-based speaker system. The HomePod mini 2 is ready but awaits the new Siri, featuring an updated S-series chip and new colors. Apple's long-rumored Home Hub will launch with a 7-inch display, available in a wall-mounted version or with a speaker base. The Apple TV 4K will get an A17 Pro processor and Apple-designed Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip, supporting console-quality games and Apple Intelligence.

Late 2026: OLED MacBook Pro and Smart Home Camera

Apple is developing a touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro with a 2-nanometer M6 chip, expected late 2026 or early 2027. It will feature a hole-punch camera, eliminating the notch, and a reinforced hinge for touch interactions. Additionally, an Apple indoor security camera may arrive, connecting to HomeKit and the Home Hub.

Products with Unknown Release Dates

Several products are in development but lack firm timelines. The Mac Studio will get M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, but memory constraints have delayed its release. The Mac mini will receive M5 and M5 Pro upgrades. The low-cost iPad is getting an A19 chip, but design changes are minimal. AirPods 5 and AirPods Pro 3 are in the works, with the latter possibly adding infrared cameras for in-air gestures. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 remains unannounced. An M5 Max iMac could revive the iMac Pro line, and Apple is exploring AI smart glasses to rival Meta's Ray-Bans, possibly debuting in 2026 before a 2027 launch.

2027 Launches and Beyond

Apple's product cycle is shifting. The standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e will launch in spring 2027, not September 2026. The iPhone Air 2 will also arrive in spring 2027, with a second camera and lower price. A 20th-anniversary iPhone in September 2027 will feature a curved display, no bezels, and an under-display camera. Other 2027 products include refreshed AirPods Max, an OLED iMac, and a tabletop robot with a robotic arm and swivel base.

Apple has already released several products in early 2026, including the AirTag 2, iPhone 17e, MacBook Neo, M5 Pro/Max MacBook Pro, M5 MacBook Air, M4 iPad Air, and updated Studio Displays. This ambitious lineup—from foldables to AI-powered Siri—underscores Apple's strategy to innovate across hardware and software in 2026 and beyond.
